The bituminous material produced by Shildon Thermoplastics is primarily a stud grouting compound used to key in road studs to the road surface.
The cats eye road stud is an effective way giving the driver information of the road layout (and hence their correct position on the road) as they reflect the light from their vehicle's headlights back to the driver. The stud grout we produce is a vital component that helps ensure the cats eyes remains fixed in place to do its important job.
